Mold Surveys and Testing
Our licensed and certified inspectors are highly trained to assist you in discovering if you have a mold problem. If you suspect you have mold, an inspector will meet you at your home or building and perform one of the following based on your needs:
Non-Destructive Survey - The inspector and homeowner will complete a walk-through assessment sheet. This allows the inspector to know exactly what the homeowner has been experiencing and some background information about the structure. The inspector will then do some investigation in the home which includes looking for mold growth and its source. This proceedure usually takes about 30 minutes.
Non-Destructive Extended Survey - Same as above, except the inspector will need to spend more time locating every area mold is present. This proceedure usually takes about 1 hour.
Destructive Survey - This is for cases that have more extensive mold growth. The inspector may remove items such as light switch covers, panels, outlet covers, and areas of flooring to check for hiden mold growth.
Testing - We offer various methods of high quality mold testing. An inspector will perform one or more types of tests bases on the situation. This includes outdoor sampling, indoor comparisons, swab or tape lift off, bulk wall tests, and bulk carpet tests.
